What we are
Electrical Services Jacksonville is a referral service. When you call the number on this site or send the request form, we pass your information to an independent local electrical contractor who serves your part of Duval, St. Johns, Clay or Nassau. A phone call connects you to them directly; a form request is answered by a call back.
The name is a promise about the phone, not a limit on the work. The line answers when a breaker will not hold or the panel smells hot, and the same contractors take the panel replacement the insurer asked for, the aluminum-wiring remediation, the EV charger circuit, the standby generator and the ceiling fan on a box that was never rated for one.
We built this because electrical work on the First Coast comes with its own facts: houses from the aluminum-wiring years of 1965 to 1973, Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels in the 1950s-to-1980s subdivisions, cloth wire under the plaster in the historic neighborhoods, a city that permits every electrical job and enforces the 2020 National Electrical Code, four electric utilities in one metro, and an insurance market that inspects any house over 20 years old. The site puts those on the page, with sources, so you know what a quote should say before you get one.
What we are not
We are not an electrical contractor and we do not employ electricians. We do not perform or supervise work, set or quote prices, pull permits, schedule inspections or meter pulls, collect payment, or provide a warranty. The contractor is responsible for their license, insurance, permits, workmanship, and warranty. Ask for the license number and check it on the state's DBPR site; a certified electrical contractor's number begins with EC, a registered contractor's with ER.
How the contractors are chosen
Contractors who receive calls from this line work in Duval, St. Johns, Clay or Nassau, take on residential electrical work, and answer around the clock. This site and the line are in English and Spanish; whether a Spanish-speaking electrician is available depends on the contractor, so ask when you call.
Your information
The information you give us goes to the contractor who takes your request, to any routing network that delivers it to them, and to the systems we use to route and record calls and messages; that contractor or network may pay us a referral fee.
